Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two… World Press Conference!!!
The world press conference for the final film in the Harry Potter series… Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two took place today at the St. Pancras Renaissance London Hotel… a fitting location just a stones throw away from Platform 9 and ¾! Daniel Radcliffe couldn’t be there as he was performing in his Broadway show… but will be in London today for the premier!

In a video link, Radcliffe said “I don’t think I have the frame and stature of an action hero”
He was incredibly excited by the visual effects of the film, especially the Hogwarts stone knights coming to life.
He thinks that Alan Rickman’s performance in the scene where he is left to die is extremely emotional and the best performance of his career.
Director David Yates said, “It was a privilege to work with the worlds best cast and the worlds best story” He will miss all the people involved.
Rupert Grint said “I haven’t come to terms with the fact its over”, “Its difficult to process” said Emma Watson, “We’re all moving on to new projects”.
David Yates: “the fan base is more than compensation” in answer to a question regarding Harry Potter’s lack of awards.
Emma Watson said the most challenging scene for her was the role of playing the adult Hermione – “19 years later”. She said, “There is no better award than satisfying the fans”
Robbie Coltrane: “It was the first time in my career that I got to play a thoroughly good man… for 10 years”
Emma Watson in relation to having to kiss both Dan and Rupert: “They were both complete gentlemen!”
Emma Watson: “Always be true to yourself and honest.. it’s the best way to live” “Its very flattering to be a role model”.

Ralph Fiennes: “I can touch you now”
Emma Watson: “I hope you're pleased with yourselves. We could all have been killed - or worse, expelled. Now if you don't mind, I'm going to bed."
Rupert Grint: Any time he got to say “bloody”
Julie Walters: “Not my daughter you bitch!”
Ralph Fiennes: “I received a letter from a man saying he was disturbed by Voldemort”
David Yates: Suggested the films were successful because of the books and that there are always themes of good, evil, love, faith and death
David Heyman: “Jo won’t write another book”
Ralph Fiennes revealed that after finding tights too uncomfortable because they kept falling down, he had to wear suspenders and a garter to hold up stockings under his costume!

Most said the wand or a broom stick – Robbie and Michael Gambon joked about having two years of wand training.
Emma Watson said: “the pensieve… it would be an incredible tool for the world as a whole”
Julie Walters: Molly Weasley’s costume… there was a lot of padding and it gave her “big bosoms!”
Robbie Coltrane: “my pink umbrella”
Matthew Lewis: “the sword of Gryffindor”
