Radcliffe to Star in New Movie

After close to ten years of playing Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe is set to play the lead role of Paul Baumer in a new adaptation of All's Quiet on the Western Front. Radcliffe has been distancing himself from the Potter world for some time, and doing other movies like this will help him in his future career. 

Radcliffe's role in All Quiet on the Western Front is about as far away from Harry Potter as one can get, however. The day-to-day rigors of life in a World War I trench take a psychological toll on young Paul Baumer. The German soldier takes his own journey in the story, but it leads to a different destination than Potter's.
