JK Rowling Turns Down Oscar Invitation

For the 82nd Academy Awards, JK Rowling was asked to present the Best Adapted Screenplay award with Twilight author Stephenie Meyer. Both authors declined this invitation.

But Meyer sent back word that, as a Mormon, she doesn't work on Sundays. Rowling cited a scheduling conflict.

The Oscars air tonight at 8pm EST.
