Technomedia Solutions Hired to Provide Sounds for Harry Potter Theme Park

Lighting and Sound America is reporting that Technomedia Solutions has been hired to provide the sounds for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park that will soon be opening in Orlando, Florida.
Everything they're doing will include: audio soundtrack design, music composition, site mixing, and audio visual systems design, integration and programming.

Technomedia Solutions is quoted as saying:

"We plan to do things with the soundtrack and systems that no one has ever attempted on a dark ride and we are confident like many projects we have had the great fortune to be a part of over the years, we will raise the bar on what music and soundtracks should sound like," said project creative director and president of Technomedia, John Miceli. "With the long list of projects being planned for the world, we do believe Harry Potter will lead the way on defining what is possible today."

The park is schedule to open iat Universal Studios in Fall 2009.
